Chamber of Commerce annual dinner.The award is given each year to a Massac County resident who has enriched the community through public service, and recognizes that person’s contributions to the community and volunteerism. The award is named in honor of the late Leslie Easterday, who was active in Rotary and many other civic Avenues, including the chamber of commerce.Easterday joined Rotary in 1927, and five decades later received an award for 50 years of perfect attendance....

Adam, from the Super Museum in Metropolis, explains in this Youtube video how this classic Superman movie prop helped film makers give the effect of flight back in 1978.
