These Mint DC Comics Superheroes Stickers were made for the Gumball type prize machines in 1979 and they were sold individually. And if you are familiar with these quarter turn crank machines, you know that you very seldom got what you went after if there was a variety of items to win which was the whole idea for the vendor to hope that you would certainly have to spend MORE than 1 quarter. And so to have an entire unused set is very rare within itself. These colorful sticker sets are very hard to find especially in such pristine condition.
There are 12 different colorful stickers represented in the set: Superman (3 different), Batman, Robin, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Batgirl, Lex Luthor, Joker, Penguin, and Riddler. They each measure 3" long by almost one inch tall.
